Jeep Safari & Kayaking in Karavasta National Park
Morning drive to Karavasta Laguna.
Visit this natural oasis of untouched nature and of stunning biodiversity, the biggest lagoon in Albania. With a surface of 22 230 ha, the park is home to the rare Dalmatian pelican and so many beautiful birds. A birdwatcher’s heaven and a perfect place to relax and have a quiet time in the beautiful surroundings of the park.
SUV trip to the western part of the Lagoon (*about 30 min) and preparation to start the kayaking adventure.
2-2.5 hours paddling and swimming into the lagoon and sightseeing the Mediterranean Pine Forest near the Karavasta lagoon, and it contains one of the most interesting faunas of the country.
Divjake-Karavasta area provides the special conditions for accommodation of a number of plant communities and animal species, among which many of them are at risk of extinction in the world such as Pelican (Pelicanus crispus Bruch).
After the kayaking we return towards Durres, for a relaxing afternoon at the beach; swimming or enjoying a drink by the pool. Dinner and overnight in Durres.

Wines and Antiquity in Berat *UNESCO
Breakfast at the hotel.
1.5 hours drive towards the UNESCO town of Berat.
We will reach the castle, with more than 2000 years of history, located in the top of the hill, overlooking the city, the old town, the river.
The castle is still inhabited and is famous for the traditional houses and their architecture. Visit the castle and the narrow stony streets in the old town.
Lunch with traditional menu in a local restaurant inside the castle.
After lunch time, we visit a local winery; one of the best wine producers in Albania. We walk through the vineyards, the cellars, and enjoy degustation of local wines and snacks.
Afternoon return to our hotel in Durres.
Farewell dinner followed by a thematic beach party, to conclude this trip in Albania.
